2007 World Affairs Challenge - Closing Ceremony

The Closing Ceremony acknowledged all of the hard working and dedicated students and coaches who prepared up to four months in advance for Challenge Day. To wrap up we were honored to hear congratulatory remarks from both President Mark Sanchez and Commissioner Kim-Shree Maufas of the San Francisco Board of Education. We also were treated to the Formal Presentation entitled Alternative Energy and its Economic Viability Around the World, by “The Saints” from New Technology High School in Napa, CA. Awards were presented for a number of individual and team categories, finishing the day on a high note, with plenty of exuberance and satisfaction of a suessful day all around!
