MAP - Partners

We work with existing art and media programs that serve middle and high school youth (ages 10-18) who would like their students to discover the world beyond our borders and cultivate their personal perspectives on critical global issues. Instructors ⁄ teaching-artists - do not need prior knowledge of specific international issues or a general background in international affairs. World Savvy provides comprehensive support in introducing international issues to participating youth. The main requirement is that, both individual students and organizations MUST participate in all parts of the Global Youth Media and Arts program including the workshops, fieldtrips, Jam Session and Festival.

Partners experience the following benefits:

  • Comprehensive support in integrating global issues into program curriculum through a Collaborators Guide, Professional Development Workshops, Fieldtrips, Youth Workshops, and one-on-one meetings
  • Increased visibility and publicity in the Bay Area and New York City community
  • Access to a network of local individuals and organizations who support and participate in education, media and the arts
  • Free space and publicity for the culminating Festival Celebration at major San Francisco and New York arts or arts education institutions
