Global Youth Media and Arts Program 2006
Youth address the theme “Immigration and Identity”
The theme for the 2006 Global Youth MAP was Immigration and Identity.
World Savvy worked with 25 partner programs and ran at least one workshop for each. Partners chose from a menu of eight workshops related to the theme. World Savvy also hired six Artist-Mentors who designed and led fieldtrips with youth.
The 2006 Global Youth Media and Arts Festival was successfully held at Zeum from December 5-January 28. There was an opening for the visual art exhibition on Friday, December 8, and two sold out evening performances in the Zeum Theater on Friday, January 12 and Saturday, January 13.
