U.S. Economic Crisis

The credit crisis and its impacts on Wall Street have been taking center stage in the news over the last few weeks, not only here in the United States, but around the world as well. The Bush administration has put forward an unprecedented $700 billion bailout, which was rejected by the House of Representatives on Monday, September 29, 2008, and a revised version of which is awaiting Congressional vote again as this issue is being written. Not only are citizens in the United States watching anxiously for what happens next, but the outcome is sure to have an impact on global financial markets as well.
