Donate - Unique Ways to Give

Searching the Internet? Earn $$$ for World Savvy!

GoodSearch: You Search...We Give!

GoodSearch.com is a search engine that donates half its revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. Just click on the GoodSearch icon to the right or go to www.goodsearch.com and enter World Savvy as the charity you want to support. Just 500 of us searching four times a day will raise about $7300 in a year without anyone spending a dime!

Give to World Savvy by selling on eBay!

List your items with eBay Giving Works and you can give as little as 10% or as much as 100% from anything you sell ($5 minimum donation required). A ribbon icon sets your eBay Giving Works item apart on eBay as an authentic charity item, and the giving bar tells buyers how much you're giving away. Plus, your listing shows up in the category you pick, on eBay Giving Works, and on World Savvy's MissionFish page! eBay Giving Works items get more bids, are more likely to sell, and get higher final prices than regular eBay listings! Lastly, every donation made from an eBay Giving Works listing is completely tax deductible.

Host a House Party

World Savvy house parties are a great excuse to get a group of friends together! Decide on the type of event you want to host - it can be anything - afternoon tea, a cocktail party, BBQ, whatever you and your friends like to do. The twist is that the occasion is to talk to your friends about World Savvy and invite them to join you in supporting global education. We have lots of information and tips to help you get started, so please contact Sarah Haldan at sarah@worldsavvy.org or 415-292-7421.

Wedding Registry

Consider including us in your celebration by registering through the I Do Foundation. At www.idofoundation.org you can create your wedding gift registry and have up to 8% of gift purchases donated to your favorite charity, make a charitable donation in your guests' honor, or ask your guests to donate in lieu of a present.

Frequent Flier Miles

Do you have miles that are just sitting? Or are about to expire? Rather than let them go to waste, consider donating them to World Savvy. We will use them for essential travel between offices to coordinate our programs nationwide. For tax purposes, frequent flyer miles have been ruled non-deductible by the IRS, but they are a very appreciated donation.
