Free ticket giveaway to the SF Green Festival- this weekend!

We’re super excited about the upcoming San
Francisco Green Festival! The festival is taking place this weekend, November 12-13. The Green Festival is a project of Global Exchange
and Green America. It’s a massive event that celebrates “what’s working in our communities and around the world- for people, business and the
environment.”
The
coolest thing about the Green Festival is that is an event that
showcases all of the incredible efforts, innovations, and activism
surrounding the creation of
sustainable communities all over the world. The Green Festival really
is a walk through a sustainable community in action. We’re excited with
the overlap of the Festival with our programming this year-- all
students participating in all of our youth
engagement programs are exploring the theme of Sustainable Communities whether they are researching a global issue, creating media and art, or serving as student ambassadors abroad.
The
Green Festival is FREE to all youth 18 and under. We are excited to
offer 5 free tickets for adults who are interested in attending the
Green Festival this weekend
in San Francisco. The first five people to comment on this blog post
with the answer to the question, “What would you like to see in your
ideal sustainable community?” will win tickets!
