Breaking News: World Savvy Challenge National Competition Teams Announced!

This year, nearly 2500 students from around the country participated in World Savvy’s redesigned and enhanced youth engagement program – the World Savvy Challenge. Students competed at live events in Minneapolis and San Francisco with creative performances and exhibits, as well as in an online regional competition with websites and documentaries. All students that competed also developed a written knowledge-to-action plan, which outlined how their team planned to carry one of their solutions forward through specific actions. The teams that scored in the top 10% of their division and at least 75 points are invited to submit their knowledge to action plans to a national competition, where they have the chance to win funding and support from World Savvy to implement their plan in the next 6-8 months. This is the first time World Savvy has offered this opportunity, and we are so thrilled to be able to support students as they take the knowledge they have gained from their research and collaboration, into action in their communities.
