Our Team - Interns

Our current interns include:

Sydney Sun

Sydney is a junior at City Art's and Tech High school. She is 17 now, and has been with World Savvy since she was 16. She originally interned at World Savvy because it was part of the school's curricula to go to an internship every Wednesday. After that was over, she realized that she truly enjoyed myself at World Savvy because she got to help the people who want to help others, and she liked being the people “behind the scenes.” For that reason, and many others, she decided to continue to stay at World Savvy to help and to learn.

Hannah Springwater

Hannah Springwater was born and raised in San Francisco. She is a student at Trinity College studying art history and photograpy. She is also interested in public education and works at McDonough Elementary School in Hartford, Connecticut where she is a teaching assistant in a sixth grade math class. Hannah enjoys working at World Savvy because, through the Media and Arts program, she can combine her love of art with her interest in education.

Oscar Garcia

Oscar is a recent graduate from San Francisco State University where he received his BA in International Relations. He's had a profound interest in foreign affairs since he was a teenager, one of the reasons that attracted him to World Savvy and its mission. He hopes to one day enter civil government service in order to change from an avid watcher of foreign affairs into someone who helps form and implement it.
