Volunteers contribute significant time and energy to ensure our programs run smoothly and effectively each year. Over 200 community members volunteer with us each year, for approximately 1600 hours, which is a value of approximately $90,000! Volunteer Now!

Donors - World Savvy has a diverse base of support, comprised of individual support, grants from corporate and private foundations as well as the city of San Francisco in kind support and fees for service. Fees for service are less than 5% of our total budget presently, but help offset the costs of programs.

Program fees are minimal, encourage accountability and to create a sustainable funding source. Our programs remain affordable and the fees essentially only cover the cost to purchase curriculum resources, and print and copy some materials. The remaining components of our programs remain free of charge.

We rely on significant in kind and volunteer support for all programs, which has enabled us to leverage growth in the last several years. Our institutional partnerships offer considerable cost savings to all three programs. Our overhead (office space) is greatly subsidized by the owners, and a long list of community businesses have provided refreshments, prizes & trophies, legal advice and support, IT support, and in kind product donations.
